THE GRAB BROTHERS BAND
Reigning from their stomping grounds of Boston, Massachusetts, The Grab Brothers Band blends a powerful, vocal chorus with an instrumental orchestra, in creating their signature, Acoustic Rock/Jam Band style. Comprised of Larry Grab, Marc Grab, Rob Scott and Jason Wamboldt, The Grab Brothers Band uses their music as a platform to express the events that have effected the trials, tribulations and triumphs of their daily lives. Saturated in the essence of sound since elementary school, The Grab Brothers have spent the past fifteen years contributing their musicianship to an array of high school, jazz and popular, mainstream bands. Influenced by such industry Legends who include, The Beatles, Allman Bros, Led Zepplelin and Grateful Dead, The Grab Brothers Band released their debut, LP in 2004. Produced by Lawrence Grab, Acoustical Bookends spawned the critical and commercial success of such album tracks that include, Wishing You Well, Mystickal Children and Childhood Memory. In following the acclaim of their debut project, the band released their sophomore project, Everybody Wants, in 2005. Comprised of additional songs that illustrate intimate stories of realism and passion, The Grab Brothers Band recorded a two cassette project that contained, Hold On to What You've Got, as well as, On My Feet Again. Both records are indicative of the layers of emotion that evokes from the vast majority of The Grab Brothers Band catalogue.
To promote their music to the masses, Larry, Marc, Rob and Jason have taken center stage at an array of festival and concert venues. As The Grab Brothers Band prepares to perform at the SXSW Tour in March, 2009, they have already been showcased at the 2005, New York International Music Festival. These experiences have led to the band garnering frequent radio airplay, and an increased rate of distribution and album sales. Ultimately, as The Grab Brothers Band continue to write, record and perform before the likes of their growing fan-base, they collectively aspire to secure placement in movie, television and commercial media projects. Standing on the pulse of greatness, The Grab Brothers Band are sure to embark upon headlining status and career longevity.
